Slade

Slade's other four UK No. 1s were Take Me Bak 'Ome (1972), Mama Weer All Crazee Now (1972), Cum On Feel the Noize (1973) and Skweeze Me, Pleeze Me (1973).

Between Coz I Luv You and Far Far Away (1974) they had twelve consecutive Top 4 singles: six reached No. 1, three reached No. 2, two reached No. 3, and one reached No. 4. The one that peaked at No. 4 was Look Wot You Dun, which was the follow-up to Coz I Love You. After that one, the next seven reached either No. 1 or No. 2.

Coz I Luv You was their fifth single, and the second to chart; their fourth single, Get Down and Get With It, reached No. 16.

They also had six No. 1s in Ireland. Take Me Bak 'Ome only reached No. 4 over there, but My Friend Stan (the one before Merry Xmas Everybody, and a UK No. 2) did reach No. 1.

They also had one No. 1 in Norway: it was Far Far Away, the last of their twelve consecutive UK Top 10 hits, which peaked at No. 2 in the UK.

They barely featured on the US charts. Four of their singles made the Billboard Hot 100, but their highest position was No. 68 with Gudbuy T'Jane (1972).
